Size Guide
Last updated:
Choosing your size in short
- Best method: measure a garment you already like, lying flat, and compare it with the measurements on the product page.
- Fit: our tees, hoodies and sweatshirts are cut in a relaxed unisex fit; most people take their usual size.
- Between sizes? Choose the larger size for a relaxed look or for layering; choose the smaller for a closer fit.
- Exact numbers: each product page lists the measurements for that specific item, because blanks differ between product types.
- Wrong size? Exchange within 60 days of delivery; we pay to ship the replacement.
Why we ask you to measure a garment, not your body
Body measurements tell you how big you are; garment measurements tell you how a shirt will actually sit on you. Two people with the same chest measurement can prefer very different fits, and a 2XL from one brand can be a large from another. The quickest way to get it right is to find a tee or hoodie you already enjoy wearing, measure it, and choose the size on our product page whose measurements come closest.
Every product page lists the measurements for that item in the size options or the product description. Those numbers come from the blank used for that product and take priority over anything general on this page. This guide explains how to measure and how to interpret those numbers.
How to measure a garment you already own
You need a tape measure, or a ruler and a piece of string, and a flat surface such as a table or a clean floor.
- Lay it flat. Smooth the garment out with the front facing up, without stretching it. Zip up hoodies and button shirts.
- Chest width. Measure straight across, from one side seam to the other, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) below the armpits. This “pit to pit” number is the single most useful measurement.
- Body length. Measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, straight down to the bottom hem.
- Sleeve length. For tees, measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve. For hoodies and sweatshirts, measure from the centre back of the neck, over the shoulder and down to the cuff, if the product page lists sleeve length that way.
- Write the numbers down and compare them with the product page. Most sizes differ by about 5 cm (2 inches) in chest width, so a difference of a centimetre or two is normal.
If you prefer to measure your body
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms, keeping the tape level and snug but not tight. Then remember that a relaxed tee is usually several inches wider all the way round than the body measurement. If the product page lists body measurements rather than garment measurements, it will say so.
Fit by product type
| Product | Intended fit | Sizing tip |
|---|---|---|
| Unisex T-shirt | Relaxed, straight body, sleeve to mid-upper arm | Usual size; one up for an oversized look |
| Pullover hoodie | Roomy, made to layer, ribbed cuffs and hem | Usual size, even for layering over a tee |
| Zip hoodie | Like the pullover, measured zipped | Compare chest width when closed |
| Crewneck sweatshirt | Relaxed with ribbed cuffs and hem | Usual size |
| Hawaiian shirt | Boxy, straight hem, worn untucked | Between sizes, choose the larger for airflow |
Our size range
Apparel is typically offered from S to 5XL, depending on the product and colour. The sizes available for each design are shown on the product page; if a size is not listed, that blank is not currently available in that size. If you need a size you cannot see, email us and we will check whether it can be added.
Choosing between two sizes
Being between sizes is common. A few questions help decide:
- How do you like your tees to fit? If you usually roll your sleeves or like a fitted look, go with the smaller size. If you like room through the body, the larger.
- Will you wear it over something? Hoodies worn over flannel shirts or thermals are more comfortable in the larger size.
- Will you tumble dry it? Cotton-rich garments can shrink slightly when dried on high heat. If you tend to tumble dry hot, the larger size gives a margin.
- Is it a gift? When you are not sure of the recipient’s size, the larger of two sizes is usually safer, because a slightly roomy tee is still wearable while a tight one is not.
Sizing for women and for unisex fits
Unisex sizing is based on a traditional straight cut. Many women find that a unisex size is roughly one size larger than their usual women’s fitted size, so a woman who wears a women’s medium often takes a unisex small for a closer fit, or a unisex medium for a relaxed fit. The surest guide is still the flat chest measurement of a top you already like. If a product is offered in a women’s or fitted cut, the product page will say so and list its own measurements.
Buying for someone else
Gifts are where sizing goes wrong most often. Some ways to get it right without spoiling the surprise:
- Borrow one of their favourite tees for a few minutes and measure it flat.
- Check the size label on a tee or hoodie they wear often, then compare that brand’s typical fit with our relaxed unisex fit.
- Ask a partner or family member who does their laundry.
- Remember that an exchange is always possible: the recipient can swap sizes within 60 days of delivery, and we ship the new size free.
Let us tell a short story that happens often. A customer ordered a 2XL wolf-moon hoodie for her husband because that is the size on his work jackets. It fit across the chest but the sleeves felt short when he raised his arms. She emailed us, we approved an exchange the same day, and a 3XL was printed as soon as the 2XL was on its way back. The lesson: work jackets are often cut generously, so measure a hoodie or sweatshirt rather than outerwear.
A worksheet you can follow
| Measurement | Where to measure | What to compare it with |
|---|---|---|
| Chest width (flat) | Side seam to side seam, 1 inch below the armpits | Chest or “width” on the product page |
| Body length | Highest point of the shoulder to the hem | Length on the product page |
| Sleeve length | Shoulder seam to sleeve end (tees) or neck to cuff (hoodies) | Sleeve on the product page, when listed |
Pick the size whose chest width is closest to yours. If two sizes are equally close, let length decide: taller people usually prefer the size with the longer body, while shorter people often prefer the shorter one even if it is a little narrower.
Fit questions for Hawaiian shirts
Hawaiian shirts are cut and sewn after the fabric is printed, and they are designed to be worn loose and untucked. Measure a casual button-up shirt you already own, buttoned, across the chest from side to side. Because these shirts sit away from the body, people often choose them one size larger than their usual tee, especially for hot weather. Shoulder seams on a boxy shirt naturally sit a little past the shoulder, so do not worry if they do.
Blankets, pillows and other non-apparel items
Blankets, pillow covers, signs and drinkware have their own sizes, listed on each product page in inches (and often centimetres). Before ordering a blanket, measure the couch, bed or chair you have in mind: throws are designed to cover a person on a sofa, larger blankets to cover the top of a bed. Pillow pages say whether an insert is included. Mug and tumbler pages list capacity.
Shrinkage and care
Garments are pre-shrunk by their makers where stated on the product page, but any cotton-rich fabric can tighten a little in a hot dryer. To keep your size and your print:
- wash cold, inside out, with similar colours;
- tumble dry on low, or hang dry;
- do not iron directly over the print;
- avoid bleach and fabric softener on printed areas.
If a garment shrinks or a print fails within 60 days despite this care, contact us; we treat that as a product problem rather than a sizing mistake.
If the size is not right
You have 60 days from delivery to exchange for a different size of the same design. Email [email protected] with your order number and the size you want. You pay the postage to send the original back; we pay to ship the replacement. The full steps are in our Returns & Exchanges Policy. If you notice within 24 hours of ordering that you chose the wrong size, see our Cancel or Change an Order page; we can often swap it before printing.
Ask us for sizing help

Frequently asked sizing questions
Do sizes vary between colours?
Occasionally, because some colours are produced on slightly different blanks. When that happens, the product page shows measurements for the colour you select.
Are your sizes US sizes?
Yes. Our apparel uses US letter sizes. Customers in Australia and New Zealand sometimes find US sizes run slightly larger than local brands; measuring a garment you own removes the guesswork.
Why don’t you list a single size chart for everything?
Because our products are made on different blanks: a tee, a hoodie and a Hawaiian shirt are cut differently. A single chart would be wrong for at least one of them. Listing measurements on each product page keeps the numbers accurate.
I am tall. Which size should I choose?
Length is usually the issue for tall customers. Compare the body length on the product page with a tee you like; if your usual size is short, the next size up adds length as well as width. For hoodies, sleeve length matters more, so check the sleeve measurement when it is listed.
Do kids’ sizes exist?
Our current apparel is in adult unisex sizes. If youth sizes become available for a design, they will appear as an option on its product page with their own measurements.
What if the measurements on the product page and on my favourite tee differ by a lot?
Then trust the product page and choose the size whose numbers are closest to the tee you like, even if the letter on the label is different. Letters are only labels; measurements are what you will feel.
Can you make a custom size?
No. Every item is printed on a ready-made blank in standard sizes, so we cannot adjust lengths or widths.
